William da Rocha

This Brazilian musician and composer holds a degree in Music (Major in Popular Music) from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (UFRGS). His journey includes experience as a bassist in rock bands such as Ficta and Still Crash, in addition to his role as a producer in the Lo-Fi Hip-Hop project called Laugabeats. Even before starting his bachelor’s degree in music, he had a deep interest in film scores, delving into this topic during the coursework offered in his undergraduate studies.

His multifaceted musical experience shines through in his works, which may include elements from orchestras, reminiscent of Hollywood film scores, as well as influences from popular music (especially rock and heavy metal) and electronic sounds. In this way, he expands his creations beyond classical conventions, aligning them with modern film, gaming, and advertising soundtracks.
